Monday 6th September 2010, wet, windy and miserable, but that didn't deter a hardy bunch of all weather runners from taking part in the CAH club handicap race.
This the 2nd race in the club handicap series, left the Sixmile Leisure Centre at 7pm with Natalie Davidson the first member away. Natalie was then followed by the remaining 5 club members at their relevant handicaped times. The 5.5 mile course left the Leisure Centre and went via Ballycorr to Ballynure and then turned back towards Ballyclare to finish back at the Leisure Centre.
The first man home was Ian McKeown having pushed his was through the wind and rain to complete the course in a fantastic 39:20, he was closely followed by Christine Murray in 39:40 who was 2nd home and the 1st Female to finish - 2nd & 3rd places for the ladies were claimed by Natalie Davidson & Gillian Hanna. And for the men 2nd was Ricky Mason and 3rd Jim Hodgens.
Well done to all the members who took part.
